Provident has been providing small unsecured personal loans for over 100 years. The repayments are fixed and are collected from your home weekly. Previous credit history not a problem but enter your postcode to find out if you are in an area covered by one of their agents. The Easy Shop card enables you to shop at Argos and has a fixed value of £100. The Visa Electron Card - not a credit card - is more flexible in that you can spend at any shop that displays the Electron sign. However, it is only available in parts and East Anglia and Manchester at the moment. Please note, that as these loans are unsecured and small, the APR tends to be quite high.
